Ways to Give to Haiti and Flight 3407

On February 12, 2009 Elly Kausner of Clarence boarded flight 3407 to Buffalo, and never finished her journey. To honor her memory and her love for children, the Elly's Angels Foundation has been set up to provide opportunities, inspiration, and financial assistance to children of all ages. Elly's Angels has partnered with Adoption S.T.A.R. to support 2 orphanages in Haiti that are in desperate need. This will be a long term project, as these children have suffered not only physical, but deep emotional loss in the earthquake. For more information about the orphanages, visit www.adoptionSTAR.com.

In addition to these opportunities to give, Buffalo songwriter Mark Weber has written a Haiti Charity Single, donating 30% of the proceeds to H.I.S. Home For Children orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to help rebuild it after the tragic earthquake in January. You can purchase the song on his website at www.meetmarkweber.com. Weber also wrote a single remembering the victims of Flight 3407 which can be purchased at the same website.
